So, this is the beginning of “Mount month”. I’ll be posting grappling dummy training from the mount over the next month for you.
In this video, I show you several grappling dummy drills & techniques you can train to keep the mount position on your opponent.
Here’s the drills / techniques in the video:
- Swimming inside his arms
- Hooking his head
- Push his arm across and trap it
- Scoop his wrist or elbow
- Let opponent carry your weight
- Alternating between grapevines and high mount
- Blocking his head
- Transition to knee on stomach
These techniques are all demonstrated on the Submission Master grappling dummy.
