Here’s some techniques to train on the Submission Master grappling dummy that you can do after you sprawl to defend against a takedown.
First, is the sprawl itself when an opponent goes for both legs.
If he goes for one leg, sprawl to that side (as in the video)
Next is the reversal to stockade neck crank.
Then, you can do a figure 4 grip to flip him to side control.
The last one here is to reach under his body, grip his ankle, drive with your chest as you pull his leg toward you, then go to a reverse ankle lock.
